George listened to the speaker, while Michelle photobombed him Duane Wilson, chem teacher and HaWA sponsor Jennifer Rueda, Janae Sarabia, and Hana Rojas listen to Mr. Wilson in class Queen Sue led the club in a toast to the Queen of Clubs.  Her fascinator is a salute to the Lompoc Brave. George Stillman received his Senior Exempt certificate.  He is a certified old guy.
Pres Sue auction several items to raise funds for Lompoc High School students trip to San Diego to compete in the State Skills USA competition. A generous donation from Ken Ostini of several King vs Shark Stanley Cup playoff tickets were auctioned. Duane Wilson, Health and Wellness Careers coordinator spoke about the program at Lompoc High School. LHS senior Jennifer spoke about her acceptance to Cal State Channel Island to major in nursing. LHS junior Janae spoke about her shadowing experience at Lompoc Valley Medical Center and allowed her to recognize her career preference is in physical therapy.
LHS junior Hana spoke about how she wants to be in the radiology medical field and how proud her family is in her decision. Rotary wine glass and coffee mugs were handed out in appreciation.  The club members in attendance that evening pledged a total of $1,000 towards HaWC and their Skills USA trip.
